What 7OH is, and how to handle it safely.
The powders we press from are third-party tested. This page covers handling, alkaloid profiles, and our COA archive.
Approach with care.
Handle with gloves and eye protection in a ventilated space, following your lab's standard operating procedures.
Keep sealed and away from light and moisture. Label with batch number and date for traceability.
Use a calibrated analytical balance. Never estimate research-grade material by eye.
All materials are for analytical and laboratory use only, never for human or animal use.
Six principles.
Research use only
Our 7OH is supplied for controlled laboratory environments and analytical study. It is not a supplement, food, or drug, and is not for human consumption.
Higher purity, cleaner results
Higher-purity material leads to more predictable, reproducible results. Match the grade to your protocol's requirements.
Follow institutional protocols
Quantities and procedures depend on your study design. Always follow your institution's safety and handling guidelines.
Use protective equipment
Standard PPE, proper ventilation, and your lab's health and safety procedures apply when handling any research chemical.
Know the legal status
7OH is not listed under Canada's Controlled Drugs and Substances Act, but laws vary by province and change over time. Confirm the rules where you are.
Effects remain under study
7OH's full range of effects is still being investigated. Findings are relevant only in controlled research, not as evidence of safety for consumption.
It builds, and it is predictable.
Why it happens
7-hydroxymitragynine acts primarily at mu-opioid receptors. Repeated activation makes those receptors less responsive, so the same amount produces less effect over time. That is ordinary receptor adaptation, not a fault in the material or a failure of willpower.
Daily use accelerates it
The pattern reported most often is escalation: what worked a fortnight ago stops working, so the amount goes up, and the baseline shifts again. Frequency drives this more than quantity does.
Rest days are the reset
A day without the compound lets receptor sensitivity recover. People who keep gaps in their schedule report needing less overall than people who do not.
Needing more is the signal
A rising requirement for the same result is tolerance showing itself. It is a reason to add rest days rather than to increase the amount.
Longer read: how tolerance builds, and what rest days actually do. If discomfort on days off is the reason a gap feels impossible, that is worth raising with a doctor rather than managing by adjusting the amount.
What's in our catalog.
Purified, standardized reference materials, not raw leaf. Every item states its concentration. No mystery fillers.
The primary research compound. Calibrated 15, 30, 50 and 80 mg reference tablets.
A higher-concentration material than the 7OH tablets, offered as a 30 mg reference tablet.
A distinct compound from both 7OH and mitragynine — not a 7OH product. A 50 mg reference tablet, and a 99% powder.
Offered as a 100 mg reference tablet, plus a full-spectrum tablet alongside 7OH, for comparative work.
The powders are third-party lab-tested for purity and alkaloid content before a tablet is made from them.
The input material, on the record.
These are the lab reports for the powders our tablets are pressed from, tested before production. The tablets themselves are not separately tested.
